What You Got

Every scout who attended was given a bag of jolly essentials, which included:

The Book Of Scouting

The Book of Discworld Scout Law, useful advice, helpful hints on tracking, bird calls, woodcraft, and the like, plus pages which have to be filled in order to obtain the various badges. A cross between an army pay-book, field guide, and diary.

Postcards

Pre-printed postcards with the Jamboree stamp affixed so you could just tick the box to tell everyone at home what fun you were having.

Stamps

6 special Jamboree Scouting Stamps and 1 numbered Special Commemorative Cover.

A Book Of Vouchers

Many of the activities required 'specially made bits'. For example, if you wanted to try Rune Carving you needed some specially made stones that can easily be carved. Knot tyers needed lengths of rope … Well, we're sure you get the picture. We wanted everyone to be able to have at least 1 go and the vouchers were an easy way for you to do just that.

Balloon Race Entry

A helium balloon with Special Discworld Stamp and free entry to the first ever Big Discworld Balloon Race. The balloon that gets the farthest wins a prize - namely a Complete Set Of The Coins & Notes from 'Making Money' plus something special from that collection.

There was also a competition/draw open to all balloon senders.
